On May 24th, the SSFL Champion Orlando Rage will square off against the Florida State Football League (FSFL) Champions in what has been dubbed "The Winter National Championship". The FSFL boasts powerful teams throughout the state of Florida and plays a parallel season to the Rage of the SSFL.

     "What better way to determine the Championship than to have a head-to-head matchup between two of the league champs" commented Jim Nugent of National Football Events, the host for the match up.

     The Rage qualified for the game by soundly defeating the Sarasota Millionaires at the Florida Citrus Bowl on April 26 by a score of 55 to 26. The winner of the May 10th match up between the FSFL's Palm Beach Titians and the Tampa Hurricanes will then advance to take on the Rage in the event.
