The Orlando Rage have (again) accepted an invitation to participate in the ORLANDO CHRISTMAS PARADE sponsored by Promotions Unlimited. The Rage have been a mainstay of the annual event since 2004. Invited back for 2008 the Rage will "Team Up" with Firehouse Subs for this years event.

In prior years the Rage have boarded Airboats, horse-drawn wagons and Orange Bowl floats to weave their way through the streets of Orlando giving out t shirts and candy to the onlookers. This year the Rage will mount the "Firehouse Subs" Firetruck.

The Event will take place on Sunday night, December 14, 2008, and will be broadcast nationally and locally on WRDQ TV 27.

The Orlando Christmas Parade will have a totally new look this year as a spectacular night parade and festival called HOLIDAY IN THE PARK. You never know whom you will meet on the street as you sit curbside waiting for the illuminated night parade to begin. It could be a sports star, soap star or one of Orlando’s favorite characters. The two-hour procession will be themed LIGHT UP THE HOLIDAYS. A rare Florida snow flurry will fall during the parade while the up-beat sounds of our High School Marching Bands keep our crowds dancing in the streets.

The 2008 award winning production will circle Lake Eola Park starting at Robinson Street and Summerlin Avenue in Thornton Park.
